Club Internet announces plans for triple-play launch

French internet service provider (ISP) Club Internet, part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, today announced plans to launch a digital TV service this month based on the Microsoft TV Edition software platform. The company’s new IPTV triple-play offering will be the first in the country to use the American company’s solution and will enable it to deliver next-generation digital television services. Club Internet plans to offer a high definition (HD) and digital terrestrial television (DTT)-ready service, together with voice and data services supported by a set-top box with integrated hard disk from Linksys.
