Huawei completes Perfectum upgrade

Huawei has announced that it has completed an upgrade of an Uzbeki cellco’s network to CDMA2000 1xRTT. Perfectum Mobile chose the Chinese vendor to supply a range of CDMA equipment including a radio access network and core network equipment. In addition the deal, signed at the end of 2005, called for the expansion of Perfectum’s network to all main cities in the country and the replacement of all existing equipment in the capital Tashkent.
