MDC reports 2.21 million subscribers as at 1 June

Belarusian cellular operator Mobile Digital Communications (MDC) increased its mobile base by 3.3% to 2.21 million in May, according to a statement from the company’s press office. At that date MDC’s network covered 69% of the territory where 90.5% of the population resides. It operated 1,276 base stations, up from 1,252 a month earlier. The cellco had 1.885 million subscribers at the start of the year.
