Global Crossing wins IP transit services contract from CTBC

Brazilian operator CTBC has awarded Global Crossing a one-year contract to provide it with Gigabit Ethernet (Gig-E) IP transit services for its internet connectivity. CTBC has more than a million customers using its domestic long-distance and international services. Under the agreement, CTBC customers will benefit from using Global Crossing’s Tier-1 IP backbone, including more than 100,000 route miles.
