NSS sees 29% rise in sales

Russian mobile operator Nizhny Novgorod Cellular Communications (NSS) says revenues rose 29% in 2005 to RUB1.698 billion. Net profit increased 34% year-on-year to RUB444.73 million. The firm had just over one million subscribers at the end of 2005, up by around 50% over twelve months. NSS is wholly owned by VolgaTelecom and operates GSM networks in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
