Fear of porn leads to 3G phone ban

Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen has announced a ten year ban on 3G phones, after the wives of a number of government officials successfully argued that video handsets could be used by women to seduce men with pornography. In a letter, Hun Sen ruled that 3G phones should be banned until ‘social morality’ is improved.
