Goldman Sachs International is no longer considered a substantial shareholder in Malaysia’s DiGi.Com after it disposed of 1.71 million shares between 17 and 19 May, filings with Bursa Malaysia revealed. Goldman Sachs acquired DiGi equity on the open market in April but has since been reducing its stake to below 5%. Earlier this month it disposed of a total 4.26 million shares, reducing its stake to 38.74 million shares, representing a 5.17% stake. Telenor of Norway is DiGi.Com’s largest shareholder with a 61% stake.
