Olà for Oi! Ends first year with 200,000 subscribers

Brazilian internet service provider Oi Internet says it has signed up 200,000 broadband subscribers since launching commercial services a year ago. The company offers broadband connectivity to 2,200 locations in Region I, which covers 16 states in the southeast, north and northeast of the country. Oi Internet is a unit of Brazil’s largest telecoms groups, Telemar, and also boasts around 1.5 million dial-up accounts.
