Vietnamese cellco Viettel has won a licence to offer telecoms services in Cambodia via its wholly owned subsidiary Viettel Cambodia. The new company is currently in the midst of conducting a feasibility study into the potential launch of VoIP and/or wireless services, before launching commercially in the fourth quarter of 2006.
