Bahraini international callers get new CPS option

9 May 2006

A new carrier pre-selection (CPS) service was launched in Bahrain yesterday, promising international fixed line calls at 15% below the rate of incumbent operator Batelco. Bahraini-owned Mena Telecom’s CPS offering features flat rate charges throughout the day and night, without any on- and off-peak rates. The company, a subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain), previously launched pre-paid calling cards under the MENATalk brand name.
