ONO says ‘no, no’ to IPO until ‘08

5 May 2006

Spanish cable TV and broadband operator ONO has postponed plans for an initial public offering (IPO) on the Madrid stock exchange until the first quarter of 2008. The company had previously intended to float its shares in 2006-2007, but has now pushed back the date until it has completed the integration of the fixed line and cable business of the Auna Group, which it acquired for EUR2.25 billion (USD2.84 billion) last year.
