Submarine Cables on Your Desktop

19 Apr 2006

TeleGeography’s new Interactive Submarine Cable Map puts our global database of submarine cable networks on your desktop, any time you need it. Using our regularly updated online reference tool, you can:

- View 87 submarine cables from a global, regional, and local perspective

- Select one or more cables to compare simultaneously on the map

- Drill down to see where each cable lands

- Acquire other key cable data, including capacity, length, and management

- Download regional maps for offline use in presentations

All data for the map is sourced from the Global Bandwidth Research Service, TeleGeography’s authoritative resource covering submarine and terrestrial long-haul network supply, demand, and competition around the world.

How It Works

The Interactive Submarine Cable Map has been designed to work in your web browser after you log into your TeleGeography account. System requirements include the Macromedia Flash browser plug-in plus a connection to the Internet.
