FastWeb launches ADSL2+

Italian broadband provider FastWeb has launched commercial ADSL2+ services, enabling it to offer its customers broadband at speeds of up to 20Mbps download and 1Mbps upload. The service will initially be available to corporate customers. FastWeb has also begun offering DSL as a stand alone service for the first time. FastWeb Easy will be the telco’s first DSL tariff that does not require the user to talk a telephone line.
