7 Apr 2006

3 Hong Kong has announced plans to upgrade its 3G network to HSDPA over the next six months following the completion of a field trial begun in January. The operator – thought to have over 500,000 3G customers – has signed contracts with existing 3G network supplier NEC and trial partner Siemens to immediately begin the upgrade.
