Rostelecom’s revenues up 7.5%

Russian long-distance operator Rostelecom’s 2005 full-year revenues rose by 7.5% to RUB40.29 billion (USD1.45 billion). EBITDA rose 4.3% to RUB14.58 billion and operating profit amounted to RUB11.96 billion, up by 0.3% year-on-year. Yearly net profit totalled RUB9.028 billion, an increase of 25% on 2004. Full-year domestic long-distance (DLD) revenues grew by 4.1% y-o-y to RUB18.01 billion, whilst combined wholesale and retail international long-distance (ILD) turnover increased by 3.5% to RUB9.26 billion. 2005 leased line revenues rose 30.4% to RUB6.05 billion; intelligent network services turnover saw a threefold increase on the previous year to RUB430.4 million.
