Italian internet service provider Tiscali reported an improved net loss for 2005, while EBITDA and revenues both saw strong gains. The Sardinia-based firm said net loss stood at EUR12.8 million for 2005, down from a loss of EUR134.2 million the year before. EBITDA jumped 51% to EUR117.1 million, while sales rose 12% to EUR736.2 million. At the end of December Tiscali had 1.85 million broadband subscribers across its main markets of Italy, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands.
