Tunisie Telecom (TT) has awarded Alcatel a EUR50 million contract for the expansion of its GSM network. Under the terms of the deal, Alcatel will provide TT with its Evolium multi-standard radio access solution, which integrates all GSM-based mobile technologies, from GSM/GPRS to EDGE and 3G/UMTS, and allows all solutions in one, for smooth upgrade of existing networks.
