VanillaSKY launches fixed wireless broadband service

Vanilla Telecom has announced the launch of a broadband internet service using fixed wireless technologies. The service, dubbed VanillaSKY, is capable of delivering speeds of up to 14Mbps, and uses the 5.4GHz frequency band. The service is initially available in Sliema, Valletta, Gzira, Msida, Floriana, G’Mangia, Ta’ Xbiex, San Gwann, Gharghur, San Pawl tat-Targa, Naxxar, Mosta, Attard, B’kara, Sta. Venera, Gzira, Ta’Giorni, St. Julians, Madliena, Pembroke, St Andrews, Tal-Ibragg and Swieqi; coverage will be increased as demand dictates.
