Ola attracts flood of interest

Just days after EPM and ETB announced plans to dispose of their wireless arm Colombia Movil (Ola), the pair have revealed that they have invited seven operators and nine investment banks to make offers. The seven telcos include America Movil, CANTV, Entel PCS, Millicom International Cellular, SK Telecom, Telefonica Moviles and Telemar while the banks include ABN Amro, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse First Boston and JP Morgan. Interested bidders have 15 days to pay the data room fee which will give them access to Ola’s financial and operational data, according to local daily Portafolio.
