7 Mar 2006

Mexican cable operator Cablevision says it will invest USD280 million in 2006, the bulk of which will be spent on rolling out telephony services, according to local newspaper El Universal. Cablevision will launch fixed telephony in May, becoming a triple-play provider in the process. The company is also investing heavily in upgrading its infrastructure and expects to have finished digitalising its cable network by November.
