Vietnamese businesses boost broadband take-up

According to a survey by a local trade agency and reported by Xinhua News Agency, approximately 89% of businesses in Vietnam have an internet connection. Of those, 71.4% use a broadband ADSL connection, 20.1% are still on dial-up and 8.5% use leased lines. In 2004, 54% of companies had an ADSL connection.
