Digicel to win licence ‘in next fortnight’

Caribbean wireless company Digicel will be awarded an operating licence within the the next two weeks, according to Guyanan President Bharrat Jagdeo. As it stands Guyana Telephone and Telegraph company dominates the market with more than 240,000 customers, with CelStar Guyana its only other competitor with 35,000.
