Cesky develops IPTV brand

The Czech Republic’s largest telecoms company Cesky Telecom is reported to be developing an internet protocol television (IPTV) service and to this end, has signed up eight TV and five radio stations to the service. It plans to launch IPTV in the Republic in June and is conducting limited trials through 200 employees. Upon commercial launch, the service will be available to around 90% of the telco’s subscriber base.
