Canadian telecoms group TELUS has reported revenues of CAD2.087 billion (USD1.81 billion) for the fourth quarter of 2005, up 6% on the corresponding period of 2004, and attributed the increase to strong mobile performance. EBITDA was down 4% year-on-year in the quarter due to higher temporary expenses associated with a labour dispute in Western Canada that ended in late November. In that month, TELUS began the integration of its wireless and wireline business segments into a single operating structure.
