China’s Ministry of Information Industry has selected China Telecom, China Netcom and China Mobile to build pre-commercial TD-SCDMA networks, according to the China Securities Journal. The report claims that the three have been asked to build out a total of 100 networks across the country, with each having capacity of around 3,000 users. The networks are expected to be completed in March and tests are scheduled to be finished by the end of June.
