Q-Tel introduces new VoIP service

Qatar Telecom (Q-Tel) has introduced an IP telephony service enabling corporate users to make cheaper long-distance calls using voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) technology, reports local newspaper The Peninsula. The service, named IP Telephony Centralised Solution, has been touted by Q-Tel to provide large savings on companies’ phone bills.
