Iusacell to spend USD50 million in 2006

Mexican mobile operator Iusacell will invest USD50 million in its network and services in 2006, according to BNamericas quoting Iusacell’s CEO Gustavo Guzmán. Iusacell, the country’s third largest cellco behind Telcel and Movistar, will focus investments on boosting its post-paid subscriber base and use of its CDMA 1xEV-DO network, which it launched in 2005.
