Search for CT’s strategic partner ‘delayed’

The search for a strategic partner for Colombia Telecom is a month behind schedule and has little progress in sight, according to a report on BNAmericas. The rules for the partnership were due to have been made public on 10 January, but may not actually be unveiled until later this month. As it stands it is not clear whether the company will be put up for sale or if it will go for an injection of capital. ETB, Telefonica, CANTV and Phone1 have all expressed an interest in the company.
