In the three months ended 31 December 2005 Millicom added 1.02 million wireless customers to its ranks to take its total pro forma subscribers to 8.9 million. Particularly significant subscriber base increases were recorded in Guatemala (73%), Senegal (100%), Laos (90%) and Pakistan (107%).Revenues in the quarter rose 15% to USD294.1 million, while for the full year sales increased 18% to USD1.08 billion. Central American revenues were USD452.6 million, an increase of 48%, while in South America they totalled USD141.1 million, up 24%. Revenues from Africa were USD204.4 million, up 36% while in South East Asia sales grew by 7% to USD120.7 million. Profit for 2005 stood at USD10 million, down from the previous year’s total of USD65.9 million.
