Voxtel to invest USD21 million in 2006

Moldovan mobile operator Voxtel has announced plans to invest USD21 million into its network by the end of this year to improve the quality and coverage of its services. The cellco said it aims to cover 95% of the country’s population by the end of 2006. It invested USD21.9 million in 2005 and had population coverage of 84.4% at the end of the year. Voxtel competes with smaller cellco Moldcell in the mobile market.
