Ola improves roaming

Colombian wireless operator Colombia Movil (Ola) has awarded Swiss equipment vendor Starhome a contract for the supply and installation of an intelligent roaming delivery platform. The new service will allow Ola to optimize roaming traffic by automatically correcting those common dialling problems experienced by foreign travellers who are unfamiliar with local dialling conventions. It will also enable the operator to provide users with personalized local language SMS messages.
