ForthNet looks to raise EUR100 million funding

Greek alternative ISP and telephony provider ForthNet is considering various strategies to raise funding of over EUR100 million, according to Greek newswire Euro2day. The company told the Athens Stock Exchange that fundraising proposals would be put to a vote at an extraordinary general meeting on 17 March, but did not add further details. Sources said the funds raised would be used to develop ForthNet’s fibre-optic network and broadband services.
