Goldman Sachs takes 5% stake in Cellcom

Israeli holding group Discount Investment Corporation (DIC) has agreed to sell a 5% stake in mobile operator Cellcom to the Goldman Sachs Group for ILS112 million (USD23.8 million) in a deal that values the company at ILS2.07 billion. Upon completion of the deal, DIC’s stake in Cellcom will be reduced to 89.5%.
