Nextel launches push-to-mail

2 Feb 2006

Wireless operator Nextel Mexico has launched a push-to-mail service allowing users to send voicemail messages to e-mail accounts. The voice signal is converted into text and delivered to the e-mail address, the recipient can then respond in text form. The digital trunking operator is marketing the service as a cost effective alternative to international calling.
