Arcor to launch commercial ADSL2+

German fixed line operator Arcor has revealed that will launch its ADSL2+ service in 300 cities across the country on 1 February. The telco launched a pilot ADSL2+ offering over its DSL network in the town of Coburg in Franconia in September 2005. The service, which will enable speeds of up to 16Mbps downstream and 800Kbps upstream, will cost up to EUR68.95 a month.
