ArmenTel to introduce new prices from 1 February

24 Jan 2006

National fixed line operator ArmenTel plans to introduce new prices for its telecoms services from 1 February 2006. The company says that monthly rental fees will rise from AMD900 (USD2.05) to AMD1,100 for residential users, and be increased to AMD4,800 for businesses. Under the new pricing, users will get 360 free minutes, after which they will pay between AMD5/minute and AMD9/minute depending on the duration of their call. A second price list raises the cost of services to ‘legal entities’ to AMD7.500 per month, although users will have rights to 1.600 free minutes a month on this tariff. Internet communications for all cost groups will be charged at AMD1/minute.
