Proximus offices raided

Belgacom says the offices of its mobile unit Proximus were raided by competition regulators last week, but insists the company has done nothing wrong. Proximus is being investigated by the Finance Ministry’s competition regulator following a complaint from rival BASE claiming that it is abusing its dominant position in the corporate services market, by offering products below market prices. Belgacom says Proximus is complying with the regulators but will not comment directly on the allegations for fear of prejudicing the investigation.
