Russia’s mobile content market to grow 56%

The Russian market for mobile content services could grow by around 56% in 2006 to between USD530 million and USD550 million, according to research house Johnson & Partners. The market was estimated to be worth up to USD350 million in 2005. In the third quarter the market for downloading songs and pictures grew by 43% whilst the ‘radio’ content sector increased by 250% and other entertainment downloads grew by 60%.
