16 Jan 2006

Indonesia’s third largest mobile network operator PT Excelcomindo plans to invest USD85 million in 2006 to expand its portfolio of services to corporate users. It hopes the initiative will help it double its corporate subscriber base from 600 major accounts to 1,260 by the end of the year. A spokesman for the cellco said part of the funding will be allocated to finance the expansion of its cable network infrastructure. Excelcomindo’s operating area is limited to the greater Jakarta area.
