The Slovenian government is re-launching a SIT3 billion (EUR12.5 million) tender to provide 157 state departments and 7,040 employees with mobile telephone services, after it received approval from the Revision Commission, an institution responsible for legal compliance of public tenders. The Public Administration Ministry announced it would revise the tender documentation and re-launch it within a month. Government-run operator Mobitel has submitted an application and is up against Si.Mobil, managed by Mobilkom Austria, and US-owned Western Wireless International Slovenia (Vega).
