12 Jan 2006

Argentinean wireless broadband access provider Ertach has announced a 50% rise in sales during 2005, with a preliminary turnover of ARS30 million (USD9.83 million). The company said the growth was mainly due to its WiMax solutions, which have enabled it to integrate voice, data and video services over one network. Ertach rolled out 110 radio stations across the country during 2005, increasing its coverage by 40%. The company plans to invest USD10 million into the expansion of its network during 2006, and said it expects to see even higher sales growth of around 60% by the end of that year.
