Rogers Wireless reports slowing growth

Canada’s mobile market leader Rogers Wireless has reported 216,300 net subscriber additions in the fourth quarter of 2005, down from 262,900 in the corresponding period of 2004. Post-paid additions in the quarter fell to 202,600 from 208,100 a year previously whilst the number of new pre-paid customers dropped to 13,700, from 54,800. Quarterly combined churn remained steady at 2.04%. The figures take Rogers’ end-of-year customer total to 6.168 million.
