3G users reach eleven million, says Hutchison

Hong Kong-based telecoms conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa has reported that its international 3G mobile subscriber base reached eleven million this month, a 10% increase over the last three months. Hutchison’s W-CDMA 3G services are available in the UK, Italy, Hong Kong, Australia, Austria, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden and Israel. Its Italian subsidiary is preparing for a domestic listing in the first quarter of this year.
