21 Dec 2005

Brazil’s third largest fixed line service provider Brasil Telecom is to launch a retail voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) service in January, according to BNamericas. The telco had planned to introduce the service this month and targeted signing up 180,000 customers in its first year of operations, however, it has been forced to delay the launch and make ‘final adjustments’ before going to market.
