Telecel, the Bolivian subsidiary of Luxembourg-based Millicom, has launched its first GSM services. Its new GSM network will provide GPRS and EDGE high speed data transmission, while MMS and electronic top-up services will also be available. The network is being launched under the brand name Tigo.
