Velcom’s customer base rises to 1.7 million

Belarusian cellco Velcom saw its customer base grow to 1.76 million at the end of November, up 3.2% in the month alone. The cellco’s network currently covers 61% of the country’s territory, and it has 1,022 base stations in operation. Velcom competes with Mobile TeleSystems LLC and Belcel in the mobile market.
