GVT wants to increase Rio market share

Brazilian telco Global Village Telecom (GVT) has revealed plans to quadruple its market share in Rio de Janeiro. The company has invested BRL30 million (USD13.4 million) in Rio during 2005 and plans to invest a further BRL30 million in 2006. It recently launched VoIP services in the region.
