MobiFon exceeds 5.5 million Connex users

Vodafone’s Romanian mobile unit MobiFon added 278,389 new subscribers in the three months to 30 September to take its total to 5.529 million, a 27% year-on-year increase. The cellco, operating under the Connex brand, also increased its percentage of post-paid subscribers by 1% to 35%. Monthly average revenue per user (ARPU) in the quarter rose to EUR12.8, compared to EUR12.3 in the same period last year.
