16 Nov 2005

Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom has contracted Juniper Networks of the US to expand the capacity of its core network to meet the increasing demand for its HiNet DSL and fibre to the building (FTTB) services. Juniper Networks will supply its T-series core routing platform, offering IP/MPLS multiservice scalability to support Chunghwa’s three million broadband subscribers. Chunghwa currently relies on a range of Juniper Networks routing solutions throughout its network, including its E-series Broadband Services Router and M-series Multiservice Edge Router with advanced MPLS and VPN capabilities.
