Partner: 3G customers double in 3Q

Israeli cellco Partner Communications, which operates under the Orange brand, claims 3G take-up in the third quarter beat expectations to end September with 73,000 customers. In total, the company’s customer base rose to 2.48 million, of which 739,000 were pre-paid. ARPU in Q3 2005 was NIS162 (USD35) compared to NIS176 in the same period of 2004. Average minutes of use stood at 306 per month, while subscriber acquisition cost was NIS363.
